At Good Food Company, we are working on ways to minimize our environmental impact.

Within our facility, we have replaced incandescent lighbulbs with new compact fluorescent bulbs. We have installed all low-flow toilets. Our programmable thermostats turn off heat and a/c for 12 hours per day. We recycle over 6 tons of steel per year and the amount of cardbord is so high that we don't even know how to calculate it!

On the road, we have large delivery vehicles. They use a lot of gas, but we try to minimize it by fitting as much food into the vans as we can. We have efficient delivery routes to minimize unnecessary driving, but still get the food to our customers on time for lunch.

In the summer months, we try to purchase produce that is grown on local farms. The food tastes better, and less fuel is used shipping it to us.
